Banana Boat rides are a common sight on any dynamic beach, anywhere in the world. So how can Magaluf’s beaches not offer you the fun and famous Banana Boat rides?

For the uninitiated, a Banana Boat is basically a float shaped like a banana. It’s big and yellow. And you sit on it like you would on horse, legs on either side. The boat is attached to a speed boat and once you give the driver a nod, off goes the banana. What makes it fun is that the banana that is rather slippery and there’s usually not much to hold on to. And no matter how adept you are at watersports, when the banana boat stops it most frequently topples over. But that’s the best part, even if you can hold on through the entire ride, you can into the water and get soaked inevitably.

Usually the banana boats are big enough to accommodate multiple people and 4-5 people are commonly seen riding the same float. But there’s no safety in numbers in this case, you’ll all go down, it’s just that you will go down together. And that just adds to the silliness and harmless fun.
