Magaluf Excursions: Palma Aquarium
The Palma Aquarium is a fabulous family-friendly marine park near Magaluf with many unique attractions. At the aquarium you have a myriad of natural ecosystems, recreated by man, staying true to their original traits and appeal. Their ecosystems are exclusively centered around marine life and its beauty. The park doesn’t compromise on authenticity to make the place more fun or exciting. Yet, while the habitats stay true to nature’s own character, they provide a lot of individuality, interaction and are educational for the little kids.
The Palma Aquarium hosts over fifty aquariums which in turn house a plethora of flora and fauna. Exotic species have been brought in from as far as the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and even from the neighboring Mediterranean region. Over 8000 specimens from 700 different species live here in 5 million litres of seawater. It’s a magical, endless world of sea creatures, right here, within driving distance of Magaluf.
To experience all the allures of the park completely, even a day is not long enough. So ensure you assign enough time for the park. Otherwise you might have to skip a lot of the good sections or just hop from one habitat to another, without actually exploring any. For a small charge and an advance booking, you can interact with the sea creatures in some of the tanks, which have been designed specifically for this purpose. The experience is exhilarating, safe and unforgettable! An amazing birthday gift for any child.
Other than the aquariums, The Jungle Expedition is also an astonishing adventure. The environs of a lush, wild forest have been created within the park. This is the second largest enclosed habitat of its kind, in Europe. The Palma Aquarium is extremely well maintained and structured. Without a doubt, a place of good, clean, fun for people of all ages.
