Magaluf Excursions: S'Amarador Beach
One of the many beautiful Natural Parks in Spain is the Park of Mondragó. It is just a short drive from Magaluf and visited by thousands of tourists a year, who are attracted by its endless natural bounty.
Other than the countless rare specimens of flora and fauna that are found here, there are great spots for swimmers and divers. And for those who love to soak in the sun and walk barefoot in the sand, there’s no better place than the S'Amarador beach. This is one of Mondrago’s main beaches and is so divine that it was selected as the best beach of Europe in 2008.
It beat over 3000 beaches to gain this title, in Western Europe. The jury traveled extensively through France, Spain and even Portugal and Italy. They based the ranking on factors such as cleanliness, basic amenities and how safe they are for swimmers.
It is located in Mallorca’s beautiful South-Eastern coast and is easily accessible from Magaluf. The beach is famous for its pristine waters, silk-like sand and pine trees that embrace it from all sides. The trails here will be loved by those who love long lonely walks.
All these factors made it number one in Europe, and rest assured it will become the number one beach in your book too.
