Family Fun In Magaluf

Magaluf has long been the playground of uninhibited adults and those seeking a weekend of fun with no strings attached. But, that doesn’t imply that Magaluf is only for singles looking for action. Magaluf offers guests plenty of ways to have clean, family fun as well as to bond with the family.

One of such activities is hitting a go-karting track at the Karting Competición where you can enjoy an authentic race without any danger. But, if getting behind the wheel isn’t your cup of tea then, you can also attend one of their races as a spectator. Other than speeding on the race track, you can also enjoy a gallop with the whole family. This lets you enjoy some quality down time with the family while exploring the region. There are innumerable stables near Magaluf, most of which offer unique and interesting packages. A trip through the Wild West with barbecue, drinks and sunsets vistas is on the cards for guests with limited time to spare. Depending on your budget and time you can pick 90 minute tours, day-tours or tours that spread over multiple days. A ride on a private covered wagon is particularly loved by families.

Other than fun themed experiences there are also plenty of water and amusement parks in Magaluf. For rides that are a little on the scary side try the Western Water Park’s The Beast, The Hurricane and Tornado. The ride called The Tijuana Twins is somewhat on the tamer side. Aqualand in Magaluf is an endless, fun-filled place for families. It’s close to The Strip and has the highest amount of rides in Magaluf. The Boomerang is the park’s star attraction and at the Surf Beach high waves are recreated in a manmade beach. Located in Puerto Portals is Marine Land. Here, one can take a break from rides and go to see dancing dolphins, funny sea lions or a parrot show. For an additional sum, you can gift playtime with the dolphins to your children. Vibrant aviaries and sections dedicated to sharks, reptiles, penguins etc. can keep the entire family occupied all day long. If time can be spared, the park’s own beach offers entertaining watersports to people. Another very popular themed tourist spot is The House of Katmandu. The upside down, Tibetan style house of wonders is patronized almost exclusively by tourist with a family. The best part of house is the 4D experience and its 6 rides.

Activities that are close to or on the water are simply innumerable. Both kids and grownups love to explore the crystal clear waters of Magaluf on glass-bottom boat cruises. These boats leave the shores frequently and allow you to watch the majestic riot of colours created by the marine life. For an up-close view of the sea life the best option is the Nemo submarine. The 50-minute submarine ride takes tourists down to 30 meters below sea level and leaves the whole family with unforgettable memories. Other than these regional specialties there are many universal favourites like catamaran rides, doughnuts, banana boat rides, parasailing, snorkeling and much more, present on every beach. Most beaches are beautiful and perfect for people who love to swim. The placid waters of the beaches in Magaluf make them safe for children but fun nonetheless.

After all these crazy activities, the perfect place to chill out is the famous Pirates Beach. The bar and grill offers a fun show for children that is centered on pirates. Set inside a galleon and themed theater, this show allows kids to enjoy dinner with entertainment. Everything, down to the names of the dishes, stays true to the theme and tickles the fancy of junior pirates enormously. Other than the Pirates Beach, there are tons of family friendly restaurants and bars in Magaluf. Prime amongst them is Sam’s Bar, which has a bouncy castle for children to enjoy for free as well as exciting rides and games. Benny Hills is Magaluf’s biggest family pub with truck loads of activities for children. For children who love playstation, Popeye’s and Sammy’s pubs are the right choices. Both of them have multiple sets for children that are young and younger. For a more laid back and quiet experience, you would be well-advised to opt for The Pink Panther, Willie’s Bar or Central Park. All three of them are relaxing pubs that heartily welcome the entire family.
